Follow this guide to set up your new BetterHealth work computer and get started quickly.
Unboxing and Initial Setup:
- Carefully unbox your computer and accessories
- Connect power adapter and turn on the device
- Follow the on-screen setup wizard
- Connect to Wi-Fi network: BetterHealth-Corporate
- Sign in with your company email credentials
Essential First Steps:
- Windows Updates - Allow system updates to complete (may take 30-60 minutes)
- Company Software - Install required apps from portal.betterhealth.com/apps
- Security Setup - Enable MFA and install VPN client
- Email Setup - Configure Outlook with your work email
- File Access - Connect to shared drives and OneDrive
Included Accessories:
- Power adapter and cable
- USB-C to USB-A adapter (if applicable)
- Webcam cover (for privacy)
- Keyboard and mouse (desktop only)
Computer Care Tips:
- Keep your computer in a clean, dry environment
- Use a laptop case when traveling
- Avoid eating or drinking near your device
- Lock your screen when stepping away (Windows+L)
- Shut down at least once per week
